Polar watch does not receive from speedsensors signals

If your watch does not receive signals from the speedsensor, the distance from the sensor to the watch is to far. But you can increase the signal gain from the sensor! Just open the sensor as seen on the pictures and set the jumper to connect the top 2 pins. That’s it. It worked for me. Here the links to 2 pictures on the Polar Website:
